Challenges

Challenge a friend, here or on another Splintr server. You each play one game in the selected mode; higher score wins.

Pick Ten-pin or Candlepin. Each has its own scoring and leaderboard.
Fling the ball: press near the bottom of the lane (the ball follows your pointer to set where you stand), drag up the lane and let go. Drag speed sets the ball speed, the drag's direction sets the line, and curling the end of the drag left or right puts hook on the ball.
Keyboard: ← → move, ↑ ↓ aim, Q / E or the Hook buttons set spin, hold and release Space for power.
Ten-pin: two balls a frame, fallen pins are cleared after each ball. Strike = 10 + next two balls, spare = 10 + next ball.
Candlepin: three small balls a frame and the fallen pins (deadwood) stay on the lane, so you can bounce them into the rest. Strike and spare bonuses work like ten-pin; otherwise a frame is the total of its three balls.
During a game, New game restarts, Quit game stops, and picking the other mode switches to it (in solo play).
